Our partnership with Parents and Carers plays a crucial role in ensuring all students are able to achieve their fullest academic potential.
Often parental involvement in a child’s education reduces when they reach secondary school. We are committed to ensuring that does not happen. Regular communication with parents is incredibly important to us.
Tutors
Parents will meet their child’s tutor on Dress Rehearsal Day at the beginning of year 7, as well as at scheduled meetings throughout the academic year at which parents can meet with subject teachers, discuss their child’s progress and set targets.
Communication
The academy provides parents with termly information and data to ensure they are informed of their child’s progress, as well as regular texts and emails to parents informing them of rewards, events and other essential information.
Leadership Surgery
Parents are able to drop into the academy between 8.45 and 9.30am from Tuesday to Friday to discuss any concerns or queries with a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
